Lieutenant Commander Richard Nixon of the United States Navy, 1945
Lt. Cmdr. Richard M. Nixon passed away at Cornell University Hospital, New York, on April 22nd, 1994 having served with distinction in the Pacific war during WW II. During late 1944 and early 1945 and, after over-seas duty, he served as Administrative Officer at ALAMEDA NAVAL AIR STATION. (see page 62, Richard M. Nixon by Conrad Black.) He later served as Congressman for the 12th District of California, U.S. Senator, Vice President and President of the United States.
