Stationed at NAS Alameda: 1968-1971 -- Formed November 1, 1968 when VAH-2 was redesignated. Detachments to USS Constellation (CVA-64). Combat cruises on USS Enterprise (CVAN-65) and USS America (CVA-66). Moved to NAS Whidbey Island, Washington January 15, 1971 and transitioned to EA-6B.
